Life is good and I'm breathing again...
You know what? I was right. As previously predicted, the breath of life came more easily as time went on. Sometimes you just have to white knuckle it until things feel normal again.
I made it through the crazy, unstructured, undisciplined summer and am now back on track. The boy is in school, my schedule is drafted, and all things will be right in the world.
Oh, but wait. This is life. And nothing is guaranteed.
You know what? The difference now is that I feel hopeful. I look forward to the next minute, hour, and day, believing that everything will work out for the best. I am anxious to see what will happen next. I appreciate every breath I'm given and good, bad, or indifferent, I will not regret a single one of them.
Here's to the new novel I'm working on. Here's to the time I will get to spend with my husband, just the two of us. Here's to the projects I want to work on with my mom. Here's to family time and the upcoming holidays.
You know what?
Life is good.
